YinYoga & Meditation Monday 9 pm est. May 24th, Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (May 26th)
Welcome Yogis and Yoginis. This Wednesday we’ll be honoring the full moon lunar eclipse. I’m feeling the sacred importance of stepping into this place within to truly get the most out of our upcoming super moon. For those of you who are not familiar with Yin Yoga, a big part of it is being with yourself, the divine, turning inwards, and honoring where you are in the present moment with the added benefit of stretching those beautiful muscles & fascia tissue(flower).
It’s very important that we come together during this time as the lunar eclipse is relationship-oriented. To make the most of what relationships we have, we must be in a place of compassion, forgiveness, immense love, and respect. We will move slowly into each posture representing the way of the turtle. Moving slowly will assure safe passage. (In Yin this means honoring our body, allowing our body to slowly move in without force or strain). Mantra “In honoring the spirit within you, I honor the spirit within myself”.
Our meditation & angel oracle card reading prior to our yin practice will be focused on life balance. This can be geared towards life-work balance or any other area that you feel needs more attention. This could be regarding health whether this is physical, spiritual, or emotional. Knowing that this is a time where things may surface or resurface having this knowledge and becoming aligned prior to this super moon, we are preparing ourselves. Educating ourselves of the true nature of these events and using this knowledge for the greater good is to benefit those closest and all of humanity.
